Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion are reportedly keen on signing Borja Baston from Champions League finalists Atletico Madrid.

The 23-year-old striker has spent the last five seasons on loan, and the La Liga club are understood to be willing to let him leave the club as they try to recoup some of the funds spent on transfer this summer.

Stoke City are said to be interested in bringing former Arsenal and Manchester United star Robin van Persie back to the Premier League, according to the Mirror.

The striker joined Fenerbahce from United last year after a reported fallout with then-manager Louis van Gaal, but Stoke boss Mark Hughes is willing to give him another stint in the English top flight.

However, the Potters have not cooled their interest in West Brom's Saido Berahino.

6. Everton's Oumar Niasse Attracting Attention From Clubs In Turkey, Portugal and Germany

Leicester City v Everton - Premier League

Oumar Niasse became Everton's third most expensive transfer following his £13.5m signing in January, but the Senegalese failed to establish himself under Roberto Martinez, playing just 152 minutes of football.

According to Sky Sports, the 26-year-old has emerged as a target for Sporting Lisbon, Besiktas, Hamburg and Fenerbahce.

He is one of five players who hasn't been given a shirt number for the upcoming 2016/17 season, which should mean that he's pretty much out the door.

5. Arsenal Set to Battle Everton For Crystal Palace Defender Scott Dann

Crystal Palace v Philadelphia Union

Given the Gunners' most recent signings (after Granit Xhaka), Scott Dann seems to be way out of their league. But the Daily Mail report that Arsene Wenger has thoughts on signing the Crystal Palace defender.

Per Mertesacker has been ruled out for up to five months with a knee injury, prompting the manager to rethink his plans for next season.

According to the Mirror, the defender has become a target for Everton as well, but Arsenal hope to beat the Merseysiders to what would be a very decent signing.

And according to Calcio Mercato (via Football Fancast), Premier League clubs, West Ham, Everton and Spurs are all considering bidding for the 30-year-old.

With Romelu Lukaku nearing a possible return to Chelsea, the Toffees are understood to be scouring the market for forwards, while West Ham and Spurs look to strengthen ahead of the new top flight campaign.

Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado has been linked with a move back to Italy, having starred for Juventus whilst on loan last season. The Colombian was shipped out following his Chelsea move last January after making just 13 appearances.

It was reported that he would return to Juve on a permanent basis, but Antonio Conte has maintained that he wants him at Chelsea for next season. Talks of a move to AC Milan also surfaced recently, however, the player's agent claims that there's no negotiation afoot.

"There is no negotiation underway between Milan and Chelsea for the passage of the player to the Rossoneri,” he said to Il Milanista (via the Daily Star) on Tuesday night.

2. Manchester City Forward Stevan Jovetic Emerges As Target for Napoli

FC Internazionale Milano v Empoli FC - Serie A

With Gonzalo Higuain having jumped ship to join Juventus, Napoli are understood to have made Manchester City outcast Stevan Jovetic a target.

That is according to Corriere dello Sport (via talkSPORT), who claim that the Naples side is keen to beat Inter Milan - the club with which Jovetic spent the first half of a two-year loan last season - to the permanent signing of the Montenegro international.

Mauro Icardi and Carlos Bacca are also said to be targets, but Jovetic is reportedly high priority as well.

FBL-ENG-FACUP-CRYSTAL PALACE-MAN UTD

The Daily Star report that the Argentine snubbed an offer from Chinese Super League heavyweights Shanghai SIPG.

Mourinho wants another defender to join his signing Eric Bailly in defence at Old Trafford, and is willing to sacrifice Rojo to raise funds for this particular endeavour.
