13. Bournemouth See Bid Rejected for Young Arsenal Target

​The ​Bolton News report that Bournemouth have seen a bid for Wanderers youngster Rob Holding rejected by the club this week, as they look to strengthen for their second season in the top flight.

The club confirmed on Tuesday night that they had rejected a bid from an unnamed club, understood to be the Cherries, who are looking to swoop in ahead of Arsenal - whose long-held interest in the player is well-known. 

12. West Brom Revealed as Only Team to Make Contact Over Sissoko Transfer

West Brom are said to be the only team to have made contact with Newcastle with a view to buying France midfielder Moussa Sissoko, although the reported £35m price tag slapped on his head could scupper any potential move.

The ​Star report that the Baggies are willing to lay down £15m to rescue the Euro 2016 star from the Championship, while the Magpies refuse to admit just how much they're demanding for the 26-year-old. ​

11. Swansea Set to Make £10m Swoop for Leicester Attacking Star

​ Swansea City are said to be readying a move for Leicester striker Leonardo Ulloa, as they prepare for the possible departures of Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis.

With the Foxes signing Ahmed Musa for £16m, Ulloa's game-time is likely to be ever-more limited at the King Power stadium next season - with the ​Telegraph reporting that the Swans are ready to throw in an initial bid of around £10m.

​ West Ham striker Diafra Sakho has been closely linked with a move to rejoin former manager Sam Allardyce at Sunderland this summer, but it's now rumoured that the Black Cats boss taking the England manager's position could destroy the move completely.

The ​Star report that the striker has put the move on hold while the situation resolves itself - with the club confirming on Wednesday that they have given Allardyce permission to talk to the FA. 

9. Middlesbrough Close in on Deal for Valencia Defender

​Middlesbrough are said to be close to completing a deal for Valencia defender Antonio Barragan, with the ​Teesside Gazette reporting that the former Liverpool right-back has agreed a deal with the newly promoted club.

The two clubs are also believed to be in discussions about striker Alvaro Negredo, but the two deals are thought to be separate.

​​ESPN FC report that the Premier League trio of Everton, Southampton and West Ham are hunting down Ecuador's Copa America star Arturo Mina.

The Independiente del Valle star has caught the eye of a number of scouts after impressive performances over the last year, with all three English clubs looking to improve their defences for a top-six push next season. 

7. Crystal Palace Face Surprise Sampdoria Opposition Over Defensive Target

​Despite a number of reports linking the Inter defender with a move to England, ​La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Sampdoria are still in the race for Davide Santon.

Sunderland have officially pulled out of their chase for the 25-year-old, with Crystal Palace taking their place as favourites to land the former Italy international defender - but the Eagles may now face a challenge as Sampdoria look to keep Santon in Italy. 

6. Roma Star Set to Snub Spurs to Move to Spain

​Talksport report that Roma forward Antonio Sanabria is set to reject Spurs' interest in him to head instead to Real Betis, after scoring 11 goals in 29 La Liga games on loan at Sporting Gijon last season.

The 20-year-old Paraguay international had reportedly been contacted personally by Mauricio Pochettino, but is set to reject the north London club in favour of a better chance at first-team football in Spain. 

5. John Stones Tells Everton He Wants to Join Manchester City

​The ​Liverpool Echo report that John Stones has informed Everton of his wish to leave the club as soon as possible to join up with Manchester City in time to participate in their pre-season training.

The England defender is due back at his club next week, but Ronald Koeman is said to have already begun planning for life without him - while the club hope to bring in at least £50m from his departure. 

4. Chelsea Challenged by Real Madrid in Andre Gomes Chase

​ Real Madrid are said to have turned their attentions in the transfer window to Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes, disrupting any potential move that Chelsea may be making for the Portugal international.

With a move for Paul Pogba looking out of the picture for Los Blancos​Fichajes report that Gomes could be a cheaper alternative as Zinedine Zidane looks to add the Spanish league title to last season's Champions League win. 

3. Liverpool Shy Away From Germany International After £25m Asking Price Revealed

​ Liverpool's on-again, off-again chase of Germany international Jonas Hector looks to be wavering back towards the latter state, with ​Bild reporting that Cologne's £25m asking price is just a shade too steep for the Reds to be comfortable paying.

Tottenham were also said to be interested in the German defender, but it now looks as though late arrivals Barcelona could be heading up the race. 

2. Manchester United Enquire After Renato Sanches' Release Clause

​According to the ​Daily Record, Manchester United have already begun asking how much the signing of Bayern Munich teenager Renato Sanches would cost them - just two months after the Portugal international turned down United for the German club.

It's said that new boss Jose Mourinho is fuming that Louis van Gaal allowed the youngster to slip away, and will now do whatever he can to reverse Sanches' decision. 

1. Arsenal Dealt Arda Turan Blow as Agent Says Barcelona Star Will Not Move

​ Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their reported chase for Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan, after his agent Ahmet Bulut told the ​Guardian that the Turkish midfielder will not be leaving the Catalan giants this summer.
