BOLTON LAND HOWARD
Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of Mark Howard on a free transfer.
Most recently on the books at Sheffield United, the goalkeeper puts pen-to-paper on a two-year deal at Macron Stadium.
The 29-year-old started his career with his Arsenal before making his professional debut during a loan spell with Falkirk during the second half of the 2005/06 season.

ADRIANO NEARS LAZIO SWITCH
Barcelona utility man Adriano is closing in a move to Lazio, reports AS.
Adriano has reached an agreement with the Serie A team and is now waiting to finalise his exit from Barcelona. Lazio are hopeful of being able to sign the Brazilian for free.
AC Milan have also showed interest in the former Sevilla man in the past, but he now looks set to move to the Stadio Olimpico.
CREWE LOAN FOR TOON MIDFIELDER
Crewe have signed Newcastle midfielder Liam Smith on loan until January, the Sky Bet League Two club have confirmed.
Smith, 20, who spent time on loan at Blackpool last season, is hoping to feature in Crewe's friendly against Wolves on Friday at Gresty Road.
"Alexandra can confirm the signing of 20-year-old Newcastle United midfielder Liam Smith on a loan deal until January 9, 2017," a club statement read.
Smith signed his first professional contract with Newcastle in 2015 after progressing through their academy and made eight appearances during his loan spell at Blackpool.

DUNDEE LOAN FOR SMITH
Dundee United have completed the loan signing of Aberdeen striker Cammy Smith, subject to clearance.
The 20-year-old, who came through the Dons youth system, was part of the Aberdeen team which won the club’s first silverware in 24 years by securing the League Cup in 2014.
PEP NOT INTERESTED IN PERES
New Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has confirmed the club will not be signing Torino right-back Bruno Peres this summer, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The Daily Mail has carried reports in recent days linking the 26-year-old with a £17m move to the Etihad Stadium.

CANARIES SIGN CANOS
Liverpool have confirmed Sergi Canos has joined Norwich City on a permanent transfer.
The 19-year-old departs for Carrow Road after three years with the Reds following a move from Barcelona in the summer of 2013.
"Everybody at Liverpool FC wishes Sergi all the best in his future career," a club statement read.
UNITED NEW BOYS TRAIN
New Manchester United signings Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly trained with their new team-mates for the first time as Jose Mourinho get the club’s pre-season preparations under way.
United's maiden pre-season fixture under Mourinho - appointed as manager in May, succeeding the sacked Louis van Gaal - is a trip to Wigan on Saturday.
The contest could see first run-outs for forward Mkhitaryan and central defender Bailly following their big-money summer moves from Borussia Dortmund and Villarreal respectively.
United’s third summer signing, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is yet to join up with his new team-mates at Old Trafford.
DUNNE DEAL
Burnley have confirmed the signing of Jimmy Dunne from Manchester United on a free transfer.
Dunne, 18, has joined the Premier League newcomers on a two-year deal with the option for Burnley to extend his contract by a further year.
The defender joined United's academy in Belfast eight years ago but did not make an appearance for the senior side.
"This is really positive place to be at the moment so I'm delighted that I've got the move sorted for myself," Dunne told Burnley's official website.
GILLINGHAM TRIAL NEW STRIKER
Gillingham have handed a trial to 26-year-old striker Moses Emmanuel, according to Sky sources.
The Lewisham-born forward, who can also play on the wing, scored 20 goals for Bromley in the National League last season.
It is understood Sky Bet League Two sides Stevenage, Newport County and newly-promoted Grimsby have also expressed an interest.
Emmanuel previously played in the Football League in a two-year spell with Brentford, playing just eight times between 2008 and 2010.
He also played for Croydon Athletic, Woking, Eastleigh and Dover Athletic before joining Bromley in 2014.
RANGERS AGREE COUSINS FEE
Queens Park Rangers have agreed a £1.3m fee with Charlton for midfielder Jordan Cousins, Sky sources understand.
CLARETS CLOSE ON GUDMUNDSSON
Burnley have agreed a £2.5m fee with Charlton to sign midfielder Johann Berg Gudmundsson, according to Sky sources.
The player featured for Iceland at Euro 2016 as they reached the quarter-finals.

IBE COMPLETES CHERRIES MEDICAL
Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe has successfully completed his medical at Bournemouth, Sky sources understand.
The deal is expected to be formally announced tomorrow, and Ibe will fly out to Chicago to meet up with the squad.
WALLACE PENS OWLS EXTENSION
Sheffield Wednesday winger Ross Wallace has signed a new undisclosed contract extension with the club.
The 31-year-old, who played a key role as the Owls reached the Sky Bet Championship play-offs last season, signed a one-year deal when he arrived at Hillsborough in the summer of 2015 following his release by Burnley.
"Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Ross Wallace has extended his contract at Hillsborough," Wednesday confirmed on their official website.
"The 31-year-old enjoyed a terrific maiden campaign in 2015/16, making 48 appearances and scoring six goals along the way."
Former Celtic, Sunderland and Preston midfielder Wallace, who scored in both legs of Wednesday's play-off semi-final defeat to Brighton in May, said in June he hoped to be handed a new two-year deal.
BRADSHAW REQUEST DISAPPOINTS WALSALL
Walsall have reluctantly accepted striker Tom Bradshaw's written transfer request.
The Saddlers club turned down a £250,000 bid from Rotherham at the end of last month, while newly promoted Sky Bet Championship rivals Barnsley have had a similar offer rebuffed. Other clubs are also reportedly interested in the Wales international.

Burnley have signed defender Jimmy Dunne on a free transfer, the Clarets have announced. 
ARSENAL KEEN ON HIGUAIN
Arsenal are interested in signing Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli, according to Sky sources.
Sky in Italy has reported that no offer has been forthcoming from the Gunners, but say "intermediaries" have been in contact with the Argentina striker's brother who acts as his agent.
Higuain - top scorer in Serie A last season with 36 goals - would cost Arsenal a club record fee. That has led to speculation in Italy that Giroud may be used as part of a player-plus-cash deal.

CUMMINGS POISED TO SIGN NEW DEAL
Hibernian striker Jason Cummings is on the verge of signing a new contract, manager Neil Lennon has revealed.
"I think it's all but agreed. Hopefully there will be an announcement in the next few hours," Lennon told PA Sport.
"I think it will be good for him to stay another year here, mature and improve his game, but he has really good attributes already."
AJAX: MILIK GOING NOWHERE
Ajax have confirmed striker Arkadiusz Milik is not for sale, despite reports linking him to Everton.
Milik was, according to local media reports, attracting interest from Everton, but the Dutch giants have released a statement insisting they have an agreement with the 22-year-old to stay in Amsterdam.
"Ajax and Arek Milik have mutually agreed that the striker, during the current transfer window does not transfer to another club," the club said in a statement on its website.
"Trainer Peter Bosz attach great importance to keeping last season's top scorer.
"The Polish international has an ongoing contract with Ajax until July 1, 2019, but is clearly in the interest of several foreign clubs."  
BRADSHAW HANDS IN TRANSFER REQUEST
Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw has handed in a written transfer request, the League One club have announced.
EVERTON TARGET WIJNALDUM
Everton have highlighted Newcastle midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum as one of their key transfer targets before the start of the forthcoming season, according to Sky sources.
The Toffees' transfer committee met earlier this week and pinpointed the 25-year old as a vital part of Ronald Koeman’s new-look midfield, with the Dutchman having reportedly been keen on signing him when manager of Southampton.
It’s understood Everton have made tentative inquiries to Wijnaldum’s representatives regarding the player’s situation at St James’ Park.
Publicly, Newcastle say none of their senior players are for sale as they battle to return to the Premier League at the first attempt. However it's understood that bids in excess of £25m would land Netherlands international, who cost Newcastle £14.5m just 12 months ago.
HOLDING BID REJECTED
Bolton have rejected an offer from Bournemouth for Rob Holding, according to the Bolton News.
The England Under-21 international is highly rated and has been reportedly linked with many Premier League clubs, including Arsenal. 
CRAWLEY SIGN GARNETT
Crawley have signed teenage defender Addison Garnett on a two-year deal.
Garnett, 19, released by QPR earlier this year, is Sky Bet League Two club Crawley's 13th summer signing.
VALERENGA APPOINT DEILA
Former Celtic coach Ronny Deila has been named the new manager of Valerenga in his homeland of Norway.
The 40-year-old will take charge of the Tippeligaen outfit in January 2017 ahead of the new season.
Deila won two Scottish Premiership titles and the League Cup during his time in Celtic Park before being replaced by Brendan Rodgers this summer.
MONACO LAND DE SANCTIS
Monaco have announced the signing of Italian goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis on a one-year deal.
The 39-year-old has joined on a free transfer from Roma and will serve as back-up to Croatia international Danijel Subasic.
De Sanctis, who has had spells with Juventus, Napoli, Sevilla and Galatasaray, has spent the last three seasons in the Italian capital where he made almost 80 appearances.
LEICESTER PREPARE THIRD KEANE BID
Leicester City are planning on making a third and final bid for Burnley defender Michael Keane, according to Sky sources.
The Foxes' second offer was for around £11m and we're being told the player wants to move to the King Power this summer.
NORTHAMPTON AWAIT MCCOURT NEWS
Northampton summer signing Jak McCourt will have a scan to determine the full extent of his shoulder injury.
McCourt, 20, fell awkwardly after heading clear a corner during Tuesday night's 1-0 friendly defeat at Nuneaton and an x-ray later confirmed he had not broken any bones.
WINCHESTER HAS BRIGHT OLDHAM FUTURE
New Oldham manager Stephen Robinson has urged Northern Irishman Carl Winchester to kick on under his guidance after stagnating at SportsDirect.com Park.
"Carl's got a lot of talent and now Carl has to use his talent and come to the fore," Robinson told PA Sport.
"He's sort of stood still for a couple of years. With the ability he has, he can play at a fairly high level. We'll try and get Carl into areas of the pitch that we want him and areas of the pitch where he can hurt people."
ATLETI TARGET DIAO
Atletico Madrid have joined the growing pack of teams in pursuit of unsettled Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao, reports AS.
Keita, 21, failed to turn up for Lazio’s pre-season training and claimed he was being treated in an unacceptable way by the Serie A club.
He is out of contract in 2018 and Lazio are seeking a fee of around €22m for his services, with the likes of Sevilla, Valencia and Monaco all understood to be interested in the player.
JESE WANTS REAL STAY
Jese Rodriguez wants to stay at Real Madrid, reports AS.

The forward, who was a peripheral figure at Madrid in 2015/16, could feature even less this season if Los Blancos opt to keep hold of Alvaro Morata.

Jese is wanted by Espanyol and Bayer Leverkusen, but he is keen to remain at the Bernabeu.
SKRTEL PASSES FENERBAHCE MEDICAL
Liverpool centre-back Martin Skrtel has passed a medical ahead of his proposed move to Fenerbahce, the Turkish club have announced.
Fenerbahce are understood to have offered £5m for the Slovakia international captain, who has been at Anfield for the past eight years.

READING SET TO SIGN BEERENS
Reading are set to sign Dutch winger Roy Beerens from Hertha Berlin on a three-year deal, according to Sky sources.
Beerens will join the Championship outfit, who finished 17th last season, for a fee of around £830,000.
The 28-year-old moved to Hertha Berlin in 2014 and made 29 appearances, scoring four goals.
'CONTE ON MOURINHO AND GUARDIOLA'S LEVEL'
Antonio Conte’s managerial ability is on par with Man City boss Pep Guardiola and Man Utd manager Jose Mourinho, according to the Italian’s former team-mate Gianluca Zambrotta.
Ex-Italy manager Conte, a three-time Serie A winner with Juventus, officially began work as Chelsea boss on Monday following the conclusion of the European Championship.

Accrington midfielder Rommy Boco has signed a new one-year deal, the Sky Bet League Two club have announced.
Boco, 31, is in his third spell with Accrington after arriving from Portsmouth in February and making 12 appearances last season.
ALLARDYCE GIVEN GO-AHEAD TO SPEAK TO ENGLAND
Sunderland have confirmed they have given boss Sam Allardyce permission to speak to The FA over the England manager's job.
"The ongoing speculation over Sam’s position is extremely damaging to Sunderland AFC, particularly at this crucial time of the season and we urge the FA to respect the disruption that this process is causing and bring about a swift resolution to the matter," said the club in a statement released today.
KANTE OFFERED NEW LEICESTER DEAL
Leicester City have offered French midfielder N'Golo Kante an improved four-year contract in an attempt to persuade him to stay with the Premier League Champions, according to Sky sources.
Reports in France say that Chelsea have agreed a fee of £29m with Leicester for Kante to join Antonio Conte's side, but we understand that ISN'T the case.
We can also reveal that Kante was offered a new deal by Leicester BEFORE the start of the European championship and negotiations with Kante's representatives are ongoing as he considers his future.

DAVIES HANDED BACKROOM ROLE
Southampton have announced former goalkeeper Kelvin Davis will remain at the club as their new Football Development Executive.
The 39-year-old spent 10 seasons as a Saints player and, following his testimonial at the end of the last campaign, will now move into a role at St Mary's Stadium as part of the backroom staff behind new manager Claude Puel.
Davis is set to offer support to players in the first team as well as the development squad, act as club ambassador and will also begin work on coaching qualifications.

BACCA TO LET WEST HAM KNOW BY FRIDAY
Milan striker Carlos Bacca will let West Ham know by Friday if he intends to join the Hammers, says La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Colombia international is understood to be holding out for a move to Atletico Madrid instead.
West Ham have increased their offer to the player to €4m a season, claim the Italian sports daily.
KLOPP WANTS BALOTELLI 'SOLUTION'
Jurgen Klopp has told Mario Balotelli that with so much competition for places up front at Liverpool he should look for another club.
Balotelli has returned for pre-season training following an unsuccessful loan spell at AC Milan but is well down the pecking order at Liverpool, who also have Daniel Sturridge, Christian Benteke, Divock Origi and Danny Ings on the books.
"I have spoken to him about this," said the Reds boss. "He's not at the stage of his career where he should be battling with four or five other players for one or two positions... so it's clear we need a solution.
"There will be a club around who would be happy to have the new Mario Balotelli. I have spoken clearly to the player about that."
MAN UTD TRANSFER RUMOURS
